Subscription Release

In five days the first subscription only album on my main bandcamp page will released. For this album everything on it was a glass object, be it a bottle, glass table, window pane, breaking glass and so on. These were treated in various ways to create new sounds as part of my ongoing exploration of found sounds and field recordings. I guess that makes this album technically musique concrète.

The next subscription only album will be in October but I haven't decided out of the four or five completed yet unreleased albums on my bandcamp page which to make the subscription only release. Time enough for that.

And talking of subscriptions the Private Releases series continues unabated. Currently working on "013 (voice & electronics)". 014, 016 and 018 are also completed by will obviously be released in order. So for anyone foolhardy enough to subscribe to the https:\\privatereleases.bandcamp.com page then there are twelve completed albums already up there in different genres and styles, ranging from raw, unedited field recordings to full electronic albums.

My next proper release will be In the Poignant Void on Black Box Recordings netlabel here. This album is also mostly found sounds and field recordings and runs to sixteen tracks and will include a sixteen page photo book and a commentary on the making of the tracks when I finally get around to doing that next month.

After that I may release another Berlin School style album which consists of three tracks but is as yet unnamed and has no artwork. We'll see.
